Every movement of God
is preceded by a movement of prayer.

When believers unite in corporate prayer, seeking God’s face, not just His hand, God responds powerfully. Prayer unites Christians across denominations, races, and classes, rooted in the community they serve (Jer. 29:7).

Through unified prayer, the Holy Spirit reveals strategies for regional revival, equipping and anointing leaders for God’s purposes.

The early church in Antioch exemplifies this, where through prayer and fasting, Barnabas and Saul were commissioned for missionary work that changed history (Acts 13:1-3). Paul recognized prayer as essential support for his missions.

Count Zinzendorf’s Herrnhut community, despite denominational diversity, united in prayer, leading to a 100-year prayer movement that sent missionaries worldwide.

In America’s early days, Jonathan Edwards’ prayer meetings sparked the First Great Awakening, transforming the nation into a beacon of hope.

Pray for Ohio aims to advance God’s Kingdom through unified prayer across Ohio, embodying the state motto, “With God, all things are possible” (Matt. 19:26). We are committed to this legacy, upholding it in our generation and passing the torch to the next (Acts 13:36).
